Welcome to the
Stratford-upon-Avon
Angling Association
The association exists for the benefit of our members and to promote coarse angling, it provide social and match fishing opportunities, looks to develop young anglers and fosters a welcoming and inclusive angling community.

The history of our club goes back over 100 years when it was known as the Old Falstaff Angling Club.
The modern version of the Association was formed in 1970 from an amalgamation of Stratford Town AC, Old Falstaff AC, Flowers brewery workers AC and members of the river Avon stocking association.

The club is well known for its river Avon waters, most notably the Avon downstream from the busy town center starting below Lucys Mill bridge and running all the way to the peaceful Luddington stretches just on the edge of town, the club also has beautiful stretches of the river Stour along with access to Stratford canal and the famous 'Hampton Lucy Brook', an absolute gem of a water where you can escape the boats and the tourists.

The club seeks to partner with local authorities and stakeholders to enhance and help protect the waters and environment it licences.
